Highlight

This tour is a round-trip journey from Seigakuso, at the head of the common trail.We take the stream trail (old trail course) for the ascent and the ridge trail (new trail course) for the descent.Technically it is in the advanced level, and physically, the intermediate level (The stream trail is slippery and you need to have certain experience in choosing the proper route). Please refer to the Mt. Shari Climbing Guide.

Notes

• Bathrooms are only at Seigakuso, the trailhead. There is no bathroom on the mountain.
• Prepare drink and food before you come to Seigakuso.
• Be well equipped because it is a high-level climb.
• We recommend bringing crampons and trekking poles depending on the condition of the snowy gorge. Ask when you book the tour.
• You had better wear not only water resistant trekking shoes but also spats which will keep water from penetrating.
• You need to have the domestic travel accident insurance. (If you don't, an additional 1,000 JPY/person will be charged).

Highlight

It is a tour walking in the Wild woods at the foot of Mt. Shari. It takes about only 1 -1.5 hours, but it is not an easy hiking as there is a difference in height. It is good for a group that wants to see the landscape of Wildwood and Okhotsk. Please ask us about the place and time to meet.

This tour is a round-trip from Iwaobetsu Onsen, the common trailhead. Technically it is intermediate level, and physically advanced level (The mountain trail is relatively well-maintained, but the journey is long and there are some dangerous snowy gorges to pass through).

Highlight

This tour is either a round-trip course from Meakan Onsen, the trailhead, or a course from Meakan Onsen through the summit to Onneto. You can enjoy climbing through various terrains such as the forest area, volcano area and shining blue Onneto for the Onneto course. The round-trip course is beginner-intermediate level, and the Onneto course is intermediate level.
